The Scottish Social Networks Forum was formed to support the development of befriending, mentoring and mediation services for homeless people by:
- raising awareness of the important role these services can play in enabling homeless people to rebuild positive social networks;
- testing and developing approaches which support the building of social networks;
- sharing good practice and information;
- providing a forum for discussion and support.
