    5) Due to the problematic nature of the term ‘spirituality’, would it perhaps be more useful to frame it as society, belonging, etc etc when this is often what we mean by it?

    I think the more I venture into discussing this domain with people, the more I realise that it is for each person to frame it for themselves - which would include deciding what language they want to use to describe it, for themselves. Some people might find the language used by faiths/religions as the easiest way to describe this, while others might be more philosophical or closer to political ideologies. This area is deeply personal.
    We are simply reporting its importance to the people we are working with, it would be great to get other people’s views on why (if?) it seems to be a difficult area for professionals and organisations to explore with their service users; and how it can be explored without shying away from words like spirituality!
